The area around a major Buddhist pilgrimage development will receive an additional 2 million visitors per annum on completion. AROS undertook impact modelling and provided strategic advice in setting up a planning policy framework for the area in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh government to provide a protected area with status similar to a national park - the first of its kind.
