London Festival of Architecture
We really enjoyed our involvement with the London Festival of Architecture (LFA) this year.
In celebration of the centenary year of women’s suffrage and the LFA’s theme of ‘Identity’, Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST) presented ‘Interpreted Identities’ – a series of dedicated installations or ‘follies’ created by a selection of London’s architecture design practices & artists which took inspiration from an extraordinary female figure – past or present.
We were delighted to be a part of the design challenge with our folly dedicated to Bella Burge, former Music Hall performer turned boxing promoter.
The temporary ‘follies’ were showcased in the latest BOST managed space, Marlborough Park on Union Street, SE1 throughout June for the duration of LFA.
